The School of Nursing is pleased to announce Ms. Pam McGlothlin, Vice President of Corporate Services for Allen Tate Realty, as the new Chair of the School of Nursing Advisory Board. Ms. McGlothlin has been with Allen Tate for over 10 years, specializing in corporate relocation services. In addition to her role in corporate development for Allen Tate, Ms. McGlothlin is an active volunteer member of the Gaston, Carrabus and Lake Norman Chambers of Commerce, as well as a member of the Charlotte Chamber membership campaign which raised over 4 million dollars in 2011. Ms. McGlothlin will bring to the Board strengths in community engagement, partnership development, and organizational leadership.
The primary role of the Advisory Board is to assist in increasing the awareness, visibility and the interest of the community in the programs and activities of the School, and is comprised of members from federal, state and community based agencies, hospitals and public and private health care agencies.
