Financial Aid

These are listings of financial aid resources that specifically target students choosing a career in nursing. Before seeking external sources contact UNC Charlotte's Financial Aid Office. The College of Health and Human Services maintains an extensive list of scholarships and loans for students enrolled in the College.  Scholarships that target students in the School of Nursing are listed here.

There are a few scholarships funded by various clinical practice sites. Ask at your place of employment for information about these.  Some hospital systems and other agencies offer tuition reimbursement for courses that support continued learning and advancement in the workplace.

The Association of American Colleges of Nursing has compiled an extensive list of scholarships, grants, and subsidized loans available to undergraduate students choosing a nursing career and graduate students enrolled in MSN and doctoral programs.  This information is found at www.aacn.nche.edu/education/financialaid.

The Commissioned Corps supports education for individuals interested in working with disadvantaged populations. The Corp is part of the Public Health Service under the direction of the Surgeon General.

All military branches support academic careers of individuals willing and able to commit time to the military after graduation.
