The William Randolph Hearst Foundation has awarded the School of Nursing $100k to support funding to diverse and minority students in the MSN and DNP programs. The gift builds upon the success of the William Randolph Hearst Endowed Scholarship Fund established in 2004. As the diversity of the student body in the School of Nursing continues to increase, offering scholarship funding for recruitment and retention of our graduate students becomes paramount in our efforts to assist in the preparation of a diverse nursing workforce. We are very excited for the investment that the Hearst Foundation has made in the students in the Graduate Division of the School of Nursing.
